These links are offered for the convenience of visitors planning to use Grim's Dyke as a base for touring the UK.

The British Tourist Authority's Visit Britain site contains a huge amount of information and sometimes seems overwhelming. There is a clever film location guide to Britain, and interactive tour guide and a large picture gallery.

London Tours gives information on site-seeing tours of London and has lots of useful links to London related resources.

Offering military and historical tours, the Holt's Tours site has plenty of links for English History buffs.

TheatreNet gives useful details of shows across Britain with a heavy emphasis on London's West End and musicals in particular.

The London Transport site gives travel advice in English, French and German and covers the Underground (including a useful map), London Buses, tickets and night travel.

If you are planning a trip from London to Europe, the Eurostar site may be useful with full timetables and booking information.

For American visitors, the Internet Travel Network is particularly useful allowing you to check price and availability of flights online but also hanled car hire and hotels.

Avis has a useful car rental site with an efficient interactive reservation system.

What about a trip to Disneyland Paris, while you are in the UK? This huge site has all the details you will ever need.

UK Street Map and Multimap can both be useful for the visitor. The first currently covers the Greater London area only, but will eventually give countrywide coverage like its rival.
